Nb-Ta-Hf — это сплав на основе ниобия, обычно содержащий 7,5% тантала (Ta) и 1–2% гафния (HF) с плотностью около 10~12 г/cm3.
The Nb-7.5Ta-2Hf alloy can be considered a “lighter and less expensive version” of the Nb-Ta-Hf ternary alloy. Reducing the content of expensive elements (Ta, Hf) allows for sacrificing certain extreme properties (such as ultra-high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance) in favor of lower density and improved manufacturability. Its main advantage lies in the balance between medium-temperature performance, low weight, and low cost, making it suitable for industrial applications that do not require extreme performance but prioritize cost-effectiveness. Under actual operating conditions, the component ratio must be adjusted according to specific operating conditions, and performance characteristics must be optimized through the application of coatings or surface treatment.
