Titanium Beta 21S Sheet

Titanium Beta 21S (Grade 21) is a high-performance beta-type titanium alloy characterized by high strength and excellent cold and hot workability.

It is a titanium-based alloy containing 15% molybdenum (Mo), 3% aluminum (Al), 2.7% niobium (Nb), and 0.2% silicon (Si). The addition of beta-stabilizing elements (such as Mo and Nb) allows the alloy to retain a fully beta-phase structure at room temperature, while subsequent aging treatment enables the precipitation of the alpha phase to enhance strength. Titanium Beta 21S is well-suited for demanding applications in sectors such as aerospace (e.g., engine combustion chambers and high-pressure turbine components) and high-end industrial equipment, where it can withstand environments characterized by high temperatures, high stress, and corrosiveness.
