Ti-15-3-3-3 foil

Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al is a high-strength, metastable β titanium alloy that allows for strip-rolling and is heat-treatable.

Highly formable, 15V-3Cr-3Al-3Sn has decent room temperature bending properties and solution treatment of this alloy enhances strength. This alloy is primarily found in aircraft ducting, pressure vessels and other fabricated sheet metal structures that see temperatures up to 300°C. It is known for its excellent formability and weldability, combined with a strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking. This alloy is specifically engineered for high-performance applications, particularly in the aerospace and automotive industries.
