Nitinol is a nickel-titanium alloy with unique properties. Due to its excellent shape memory characteristics, high corrosion and wear resistance, and good biocompatibility, Ti-Ni alloy is widely used in medical devices, pipe couplings, sensing elements, and micro-actuators.

Key Properties of Nitinol:
1. Shape Memory Effect (SME):
When deformed at a low temperature, Nitinol can "remember" its original shape and return to it when heated above a certain transition temperature (austenite finish temperature, Af).
Used in applications like self-expanding stents, actuators, and eyeglass frames.

2. Superelasticity (Pseudoelasticity):
At body temperature (or slightly above), Nitinol can undergo large deformations (up to 8% strain) and return to its original shape when unloaded.
Used in medical devices (e.g., orthodontic wires, guidewires) and flexible engineering components.

3. Biocompatibility:
Nitinol is widely used in medical implants because it is well-tolerated by the human body.

4. Damping Capacity:
It can absorb vibrations and shocks, making it useful in aerospace and automotive applicatio
