Nb53Ti47 niobium-titanium alloy foil is a niobium-titanium alloy material composed of approximately 53 wt.% niobium (Nb) and 47 wt.% titanium (Ti).
Nb53Ti47 exhibits excellent ductility, formability, and low-temperature superconductivity, making it one of the most mature and widely used material systems in the field of low-temperature superconductivity. The excellent processability of NbTi allows it to be processed into strips, foil, and complex structural components.
Qubitron can supply Nb53Ti47 foil, thin strips, and custom-sized strips according to customer specifications, suitable for superconducting magnets, scientific research equipment, cryogenic systems, particle accelerators, MRI, fusion reactors, and other low-temperature superconducting applications.
NbTi is a highly mature material system for commercial superconducting magnets. It can be used in: superconducting magnets, superconducting coils, laboratory magnets, cryogenic magnets, and magnet components.
Nb53Ti47 foil can be used in research, development, assemblies, structures, and specialized components for MRI and other cryogenic superconducting equipment.
The use of NbTi in particle accelerators is very widespread and includes: particle accelerators, accelerator magnets, beam transport systems, and high-energy physics.
Nb53Ti47 foil can also be used in: cryogenic equipment, liquid helium systems, cryogenic research, low-temperature sensors, and superconducting components.
