Nb-1Zr Tube

Niobium 1 Zirconium tube
Niobium 1 Zirconium tube end detail

Pipes made of the Nb-1Zr alloy exhibit excellent high-temperature properties, creep resistance, and resistance to corrosive environments, making them suitable for use in high-temperature, vacuum, aerospace, power generation, and specialized chemical equipment.

According to ASTM B394, Nb-1Zr alloy pipes may be manufactured as seamless or welded pipes. The standard covers alloys containing 1% zirconium and niobium, including Type 3 R04251 and Type 4 R04261.

Nb-1Zr alloy pipes of various outer diameters, wall thicknesses, and lengths are available upon request; custom products can also be manufactured according to the customer’s drawings, technical specifications, and specific application requirements.

Key characteristics of Nb-1Zr alloy pipes:

  1. Excellent performance at high temperatures
  2. Good resistance to creep
  3. Good corrosion resistance
  4. Good ductility and workability
  5. Suitable for use in high-temperature and vacuum environments
  6. Seamless and welded pipes are available
